Is Gravel Wheel Setting Good For Your Sport Bike?

Best bang for buck gravel wheel set on wheels, trying to keep under 300 dollars! EdIT: sorry, tube brake, rim nut under 300 with new tires! It's just not true. This is what I've been up to recently... I've spent a lot of money trying different things like Pirelli BlueSSC/ PRO-4's, Dunlop STP dual jacks, Giant DOT and so on and so forth. But I've finally found my sweet spot, which is this: gravel wheel set.

When I first bought my gravel set, I thought it was an absolutely great deal. All the previous wheels I had bought before were way too expensive for me, so I was looking for something to "go with" my truck. I didn't want to go all out and get new wheels, but I just needed something to "go with" my current truck. That and I wanted to save money too, so I settled for a good used set of tires.

After some research, I found that there was a gravel wheel set for sale at about half the price of my first set of tires. So I got it. What's great is most of the time, the prices of off-road tires are cheaper than what I was paying for my truck! I didn't have much trouble finding a set of rims to go with my tires, either. And all my other components were in perfect condition, too. The only problem I have now is that I've misplaced my contact info.

Anyhow, I have since gotten my rims/wheels set and I'm very happy with the results. First of all, I've got real rims now. Unlike the gravel wheel set that I got, the ones that came with the truck, they don't spin. So now I have to buy new hubcaps for my trucks. Not a big deal, I have a friend that uses them and she said they look good.

Next, I've actually been able to start using my gravel wheelset. Sure, it's not a sport bike or mountain bike, but it's my daily bike. I've been riding it ever since and I love it. I can take it on any type of bike-packing adventures now that I have the suspension components. It's also perfect for when I have to go on a long road trip or an evening out with friends.

In fact, whenever I take my bike out now, I use my new solid rims and tires. It acts like a normal tire, except for the fact that it acts like a carbon fiber rim. There's really no comparison to the looks of a carbon fiber rim. I can tell that the people that sell me the wheels and rims have more experience in selling bikes than me, because they know what they're talking about, and I don't.
